Summer in the Ville (July 2016)

Oops... I put that last one out ahead of this one. Well, it wasn't all that great anyway and this one will be pretty short since we actually saw many of the people I'm trying to update.

The Ohio was pretty swollen as we approached SDF. Still, a welcome sight.

Managed to get a good shot of U of L's campus, plus Churchill Downs during the approach.

Walda was feeling it!

The highlight of the summer - Ken's Independence Day party "out in the country"
Eliza is always most excited to see Dom as soon as we get home.

We got to attend the big party at Audubon, where the older Eliza Lew killed it in the pie-eating contest!

We had a great sunset that night!

Eliza and Katherine got to spend some quality time at Lakeside.

I think they like each other OK.

Taking it easy in the new Nickols abode.

Holli and I got away to Cumberland for a nice weekend with good friends.

Not sure where his umbrella went.

Back at the ranch, it seems that the deer are getting a little more brazen.

Hilary got conned into buying ice cream for the group.

That is an extension cord holding the luggage on there. But at least they plugged it into itself so it wouldn't come apart.
